Step-by-Step to Your New Kitchen

Step 1: Contact Flair Cabinets
Contact the friendly staff at Flair Cabinets.

Step 2: Site Visit
We arrange an in-home consultation to inspect the existing layout, and design a functional kitchen suited to all members of your family and their lifestyle needs.

Step 3: Create Proposal
We carefully prepare your personalised new kitchen design and build proposal.

Step 4: Client Meeting
Meet your design consultant to discuss the proposal in full and resolve any queries you may have.

Step 5: Confirmation and Contract Signing
Flair Cabinets and the customer sign the cabinetry supply and install contract.

Step 6: Specification Completion
In conjunction with your Flair Cabinets design consultant, you finalise the design, then choose handles, colours, benchtop materials, waste bins and other associated items. This step is normally completed in our designer kitchen showroom.

Warning-icon-hiNote: Step 6 is a most important step. If there is any delay in deciding colours, materials and the final kitchen design, Flair Cabinets cannot move forward … and your project will be delayed!

Step 7: Kitchen File is Issued to Production
After your kitchen design is confirmed and the project specifications are totally documented your ‘dream kitchen’ file is issued to the Flair Cabinets production manager.

Step 8: Check-measure
Flair Cabinets will contact you and arrange a check-measure. During this process we accurately measure every key dimension of your room including floor and wall characteristics, location of power and plumbing points. The Flair Cabinets production manager will study the result of the check-measure and contact you with an installation date.

Warning-icon-hiThe kitchen installation date for an average-sized kitchen will be approximately 5 weeks from the check-measure date.

Step 9: CAD
Our CAD department will transfer your kitchen project to a Cabinet Vision CAD file. This CAD file contains all relevant measurements and production department cutting lists. The CAD department will also finalise all material requirements. Materials for your new kitchen are then ordered.

Step 10: Manufacture of Your New Kitchen
Panels are cut and edged with our state of the art CNC router and edge banding machine. Your kitchen is totally assembled and set up in the Flair Cabinets factory by qualified tradesmen.

Step 11: Quality Inspection of Your Kitchen
At the completion of a kitchen assembly, a quality inspection is conducted. Customers are contacted by the production manager and invited to view their kitchen before it is delivered and installed. After the final quality inspection your kitchen is carefully loaded onto the Flair Cabinets delivery truck.

Step 12: Installation Day
Your new kitchen cabinets, benchtops, splashbacks, kickboards and new appliances are delivered to your home and carefully unloaded. Our qualified installers will install your new kitchen. At completion of installation, a final quality inspection takes place.
(On this day, other trades – electrician, plumber etc – may be needed to disconnect and reconnect new appliances.)

Finally, start using and enjoying your new kitchen!
